Laufey: Everything I Know About Love Tour 2022

Quite simply I just love the artist. I met her a year prior when she was an opener at the same venue, we talked about me photographing her when she did go on her first headlining tour and I almost didn’t apply for the press pass!

I’m so thankful that I found a publication within two days and was able to capture the magical show.

While I probably shouldn’t include emails and such between myself and Laufey’s team, the process was interesting. I researched her label, management, and tour manager to find email addresses to first inquire about the gig.

When I was then told they’d only be providing press passes to photographers on assignment from publications I then ran to Rebelle Zine (a former RTA thesis group) for that title.

We then emailed Laufey’s team back and waited for credentials. I was not 100% confirmed for them so I brought my camera and hoped for the best! Thankfully I made the list and had an amazing time.
